Hard Mountain Dew announces $1 million Bigfoot bounty

Hard Mountain Dew, a brand launched by PepsiCo and Boston Beer Company, has announced a “Bigfoot Bounty” contest offering a $1 million prize for irrefutable evidence of the legendary creature's existence.

To qualify for the grand prize, participants aged 21 and older must submit multiple forms of verified evidence by November 30. Required documentation includes footprints, handprints, hair samples, audio recordings, thermal imaging, or photographic proof. The company specified that photographic evidence must include a “photobomb” shot of the creature.

Entries will be evaluated by cryptozoology researcher Bryce Johnson. While the top prize is $1 million, the company has promised consolation prizes consisting of cash equivalent to a 12-pack of Hard Mountain Dew for 100 entrants who provide credible findings but fail to meet the full evidentiary requirements.
