Hard Rock Café Innsbruck files for new insolvency

The Hard Rock Café in Innsbruck, operated by HRC IBK Betriebs GmbH, has applied for new insolvency proceedings at the Innsbruck Regional Court. This follows a previous insolvency in 2025 that had been addressed through a restructuring plan, which the company is now unable to maintain.

The company reports debts of approximately 600,000 euros. Management attributed a significant decline in revenue—roughly 20 percent lower than the previous year during the July to September period—to a combination of a heatwave and reduced consumer spending driven by inflation.

The insolvency affects 31 employees, and reports indicate that salaries for September 2026 were not paid. While the KSV1870 anticipates a potential closure, the Alpenländischer Kreditorenverband (AKV) is working to find a new operator or buyer to allow for a temporary continuation of business.
