The hard‑rock supergroup Iconic – comprising Michael Sweet (guitars), Joel Hoekstra (guitars), Marco Mendoza (bass), Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Nathan James (vocals) – has announced its second album, “II”, slated for release on 31 July 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl. To promote the record the band released the opening track “Cry No More” with a lyric video. Michael Sweet said, “It’s been a long time coming and the time is finally here! It’s an absolute honor to be a part of such an incredible band and ‘Cry No More’ is the perfect representation of who Iconic is.”
A second single, “Valley Of Lost Souls”, and its lyric video were also issued ahead of the album. Sweet added, “‘Valley Of Lost Souls’ is another song that solidifies our identity as a band and perfectly represents our goal: to remind people of the power of rock.” Joel Hoekstra and Marco Mendoza also expressed enthusiasm for the new material. The ten‑track album features a blend of high‑octane hard‑rock riffs, power‑ballad dynamics and showcases the group’s chemistry, with the track list including “Cry No More”, “Valley Of Lost Souls”, “Tears Keep On Falling” and others.
