Harderwijk aan Tafel to lead pre-Christmas dinner tradition

The annual pre-Christmas dinner in Harderwijk has been rebranded and will now be organized by the newly formed Stichting Harderwijk aan Tafel. Taking over the initiative from Stanly Rutten, the foundation aims to continue the tradition of providing a festive meal and social connection for residents experiencing loneliness.

The next event is scheduled for December 14, 2026, at MFC De Roef. Led by Daniël Drinkwater and Esmée Haarhuis-Stijkel, the foundation intends to expand its mission beyond the annual dinner to create more frequent opportunities for community interaction and meaningful encounters among residents.
