Hardik Pandya meets fan who traveled on foot to Bengaluru

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya met a dedicated supporter, Ravi Kumar Rawat, who traveled a significant distance on foot to meet him in Bengaluru. Rawat had previously walked approximately 1,400 kilometers to Mumbai before extending his journey to Bengaluru after learning the all-rounder had relocated there.

Pandya, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence, expressed surprise at the fan's determination and offered to arrange travel tickets for his return journey. While the encounter gained significant social media attention, Rawat later claimed via video that he had lost the ticket provided by Pandya and requested financial assistance to return home.

In related cricket news, legend Sunil Gavaskar commented on Pandya's importance to the Indian team, describing the all-rounder as ‘irreplaceable’ and suggesting that the team should focus on finding players who can perform different roles rather than searching for a direct substitute.
