HARIO to release limited Makoto Shinkai film-themed glass earrings

HARIO Lampwork Factory has announced a limited-edition collaboration featuring handmade heat-resistant glass earrings inspired by the films of director Makoto Shinkai. The collection includes designs based on ‘Your Name.’ and ‘Suzume’.

The ‘Your Name.’ earrings, priced at 11,000 yen, feature a gradient of colors and pink glass to represent the Tiamat Comet. A limited run of 200 pairs will be available. The ‘Suzume’ earrings, also priced at 11,000 yen, use contrasting colors—purple for the ‘Everlasting World’ and green and blue for the ‘Real World’—to depict the connection between the two realms. Only 100 pairs are available for this design.

Both items are scheduled for release on October 4, 2026, via the HARIO NETSHOP. The products are handcrafted by artisans at HARIO’s workshops in locations such as Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
