Haris Asimakopoulos discusses depression and personal struggles

Greek actor Haris Asimakopoulos has spoken candidly about his personal struggles with depression and financial anxiety. During an interview on ‘Happy Day’, the actor described depression as a ‘torment that you carry inside you’ and noted that his own mental health struggles were linked to the stress of a mortgage. He explained that living in a house owned by a bank caused significant anxiety, leading him to eventually sell the property to find peace.

Asimakopoulos also shared his views on infidelity, stating that while it is upsetting, his primary concern is the impact on the home environment. He remarked that if someone chooses to be unfaithful, they should not bring that energy or presence back into the shared household.
