Haris Rauf fined for ICC conduct breach and joins Adelaide Strikers

Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee and received an official reprimand following a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct. The incident occurred during an ODI tri-series match against England in Lahore on October 27, 2026. Rauf was found to have displayed conduct contrary to the spirit of the game after a heated exchange with England's Will Jacks and brushing past umpire Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid. This marks Rauf's third offence in 24 months, bringing his cumulative demerit points to five.

In the same match, the England team was docked 15 per cent of their match fee for failing to meet the minimum over-rate, finishing three overs short of the required target.

Separately, Rauf has signed a contract with the Adelaide Strikers for the upcoming Big Bash League season in Australia. Moving from the Melbourne Stars, the Pakistani pacer is expected to join the franchise when the tournament begins on December 12, 2026.
