Harlan Coben's Netflix Adaptations Grow with New Series

The thriller writer Harlan Coben continues to expand his partnership with Netflix. His series "Sur tes traces" topped the French streaming chart shortly after its June release, and Coben explained on Reddit that he knows the finale before beginning to write, using a mental "GPS" to plot the ending.

Netflix has renewed its contract with Coben and is preparing two further adaptations. The British mini‑series "In the Woods," based on his novel of the same name, will follow a dual‑timeline mystery and is slated for a near‑future release, featuring a compact, binge‑ready format and a carefully chosen cast. Additionally, a new adaptation of Coben’s Myron Bolitar saga is being developed with producer David E. Kelley, starring Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero.

These projects underline Netflix's strategy of turning Coben’s bestselling books into event‑style series, reinforcing the author’s reputation for suspenseful storytelling and broadening his audience across Europe.
