Harleen Deol signs with Barbados Tridents for WCPL 2026

Indian batter Harleen Deol has signed with the Barbados Tridents for the remainder of the 2026 Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) season. The deal, effective from September 11, 2026, makes Deol the fifth Indian player participating in this year's tournament.

Deol joins a Tridents squad that includes fellow Indian players Kiran Navgire and Pooja Vastrakar. The Tridents, who are the three-time defending champions of the WCPL, are looking to recover from a 21-run defeat to the Trinbago Knight Riders in their tournament opener on September 5.

Deol brings significant franchise experience to the team, having played in the Women's Premier League for the Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz. Her career statistics include 311 runs in 28 Women's T20 Internationals and 649 runs across 28 WPL matches.
