Harlequins announces coaching staff changes
Harlequins has announced several changes to its coaching staff. Joe Gray will return to the club on a full-time basis as the Lead Rugby Transition Coach. Gray, a former player who made over 170 appearances for the club, succeeds Matt Ferguson, who is departing to become the Scrum and Contact Skills Coach for the Red Roses.
Gray will focus on the club’s transition strategy for players aged 18-23, working with the Academy to bridge the gap to first-team rugby. He will transition into the role throughout the autumn, initially maintaining his duties at London Scottish while his successor is recruited.
Additionally, Adam Jones has signed a contract extension to remain at The Stoop as the club’s Scrum and Contact Coach.
