Harley Benton launches budget hand‑aged guitar series
Harley Benton, the house brand of music retailer Thomann, introduced the HA62 (Heavy Aging) and LA62 (Light Aging) series, offering hand‑aged guitars and basses at a price of about €249 ($270). The line includes ST, T‑style, offset and bass models, each available in two wear levels—light and heavy—featuring distressed lacquer, caramelised maple necks and Alnico 5 single‑coil pickups.
The series spans 20 models with a range of colours such as Olympic White, Sunburst, Seafoam Green, Shell Pink and Lake Placid Blue. By delivering relic‑style finishes normally found on instruments costing thousands of euros, Harley Benton aims to democratise the vintage aesthetic for a broader market of players.
