harmo to launch Yakureco medication management service for transport operators

harmo, a group company of CMIC Holdings, has announced the launch of ‘Yakureco’, a revamped medication management service specifically designed for transportation operators. Scheduled for release on October 1, 2026, the service aims to enhance driver safety and support workforce stability amidst labor shortages and an aging population.

With driver consent, Yakureco allows companies to monitor prescription information and identify medications that may impair driving abilities. The updated service introduces new features, including automated notifications to managers when prohibited drugs are detected and alerts regarding potential interruptions in medical treatment for chronic conditions like hypertension or diabetes.

By streamlining the verification of medical visits and prescriptions, the service helps companies comply with health management guidelines from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The goal is to prevent accidents caused by health issues and ensure the continuous, safe operation of transport, bus, and taxi services.
