Harmoni raises $10 million to bring AI to traditional manufacturing
Harmoni, a startup founded in 2023, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company aims to modernize existing manufacturing operations through its Factory Orchestration platform and its context-aware AI system, HAL.
Unlike startups focused on building entirely new autonomous factories, Harmoni targets traditional manufacturing facilities by providing custom tablets and software that connect people, machines, and processes. The hardware can attach to equipment ranging from modern systems to legacy machinery. The platform automates administrative tasks such as labor tracking, ERP transactions, and quality reporting, which the company claims has saved operators more than 200 productive hours annually.
Harmoni currently serves approximately 40 customers, with its largest segment being in the aerospace and defense industries. The new funding will be used for product development, go-to-market expansion, and the continued advancement of the HAL AI system.
