Harmony of the Seas experiences hallway flooding after burst water line
A burst water line aboard Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas caused flooding in a passenger corridor and several cabins on the morning of September 29, 2026. The incident occurred on Deck 10 during a five-night Western Caribbean voyage traveling from Port Canaveral, Florida, toward Cozumel, Mexico.
Witnesses reported that the water was warm enough to produce visible steam. Despite the dramatic footage of water rushing through the hallways, the damage was reportedly contained to a limited number of staterooms, including cabins near the ship's aft Boardwalk neighborhood.
Passengers noted that the crew responded quickly to isolate the leak and address the affected areas. One passenger, who has been on 92 cruises, described the event as an unprecedented but uncommon malfunction and praised the crew's handling of the situation.
