Harold Halibut Slow Bros. Nintendo Switch 2 stop-motion animation video game release

The Cologne-based studio Slow Bros. has announced that its narrative adventure game, Harold Halibut, will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026.

Originally announced for the first Nintendo Switch in 2018, the studio has decided to bypass the original hardware entirely in favor of the new console generation. This move allows the game to utilize improved technical capabilities. While the title has been available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S since April 2024, the Switch 2 version will serve as the studio's final platform release.

Harold Halibut is a stop-motion inspired adventure set on the Fedora I, a spacecraft seeking a new home for humanity. The game features a unique visual style described as an interactive stop-motion animation, blending drama, humor, and suspense.
