Harris Pappas analyzes Super League derby prospects

Veteran international footballer Harris Pappas provided analysis on the resumption of the Super League during an appearance on ERT3. He highlighted the upcoming derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos as the first major ‘crash test’ for Panathinaikos this season.

Pappas noted that while Panathinaikos enters the derby with a five-point advantage, the Karaiskakis Stadium remains a difficult venue for all teams. He observed that Panathinaikos has shown strength and an aggressive playing style, whereas Olympiacos is currently in a phase of reorganization across several levels.

Regarding other matchups, Pappas praised OFI Crete as the pleasant surprise of the year under coach Kontis, noting their progress in domestic and European competitions. He also commented on AEK Athens' focus on the Champions League and expressed positive views on PAOK's development under coach Lisi.
