Harrisburg Senators defeat Altoona Curve 2-0

The Harrisburg Senators defeated the Altoona Curve 2-0 at FNB Field on Friday night. Despite strong pitching from Altoona's Peyton Stumbo, who provided five scoreless innings and five strikeouts, the Curve offense struggled to produce runs.

The game's only scoring occurred in the bottom of the sixth inning when Sam Brown hit a two-run home run off reliever Mike Walsh. Walsh entered the game following an injury to Jake Shirk, who was removed after facing only two hitters.

While the Curve pitchers recorded ten strikeouts and only three walks, the team was held to just four baserunners through the first seven innings. Altoona's record falls to 24-36 on the season.
