Harrogate Town signs midfielder Brayden Johnson on loan

Harrogate Town has secured midfielder Brayden Johnson on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough U21. The 20-year-old, who has represented both England and Ghana at the international level, is scheduled to remain with the National League club until May 31, 2027.

Johnson, a right-footed central midfielder, joins Harrogate following a series of loan spells. He previously spent time on loan at Kidderminster and Gateshead during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. He has already made a brief appearance for Harrogate, playing 31 minutes in the National League Cup.
