Harry Georgiou selected to represent Cyprus at Junior Eurovision 2026

Harry Georgiou, a 13-year-old performer based in North London, has been announced as the representative for Cyprus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The announcement was made by CyBC during a prime-time news broadcast on July 13.

Georgiou was selected through a multi-stage process that included 209 applications and a final round of auditions featuring 45 performers. He will perform the song ‘Who I Can Be’, which was composed by a team including Anna-Klara Folin, Laurell Barker, Nathalie Brydolf, Thomas Stengaard, and Victoria Chalkitis. The entry was chosen via a committee using a Eurovision-style points system.

Georgiou has previous experience in West End productions, having appeared in ‘Les Misérables’ and ‘Elf: The Musical’. He is scheduled to perform in slot number 2 during the final in Ta’ Qali.
