Harry Kane addresses Bayern Munich reliance claims

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has dismissed suggestions that the club relies too heavily on his goal-scoring and assist contributions. Kane stated that producing these statistics is simply a fundamental part of his responsibility as a center-forward.

As of mid-October 2026, Kane has recorded 156 goals for Bayern Munich across all competitions. While he remains a vital component of the German club's attacking line, he maintains that his productivity should be viewed as a professional requirement of his role rather than an indicator of team dependency.

Separately, Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven expressed his desire to see Kane return to the club, describing him as the greatest player in Tottenham's history and noting his ability to guarantee 30 goals per season.
