Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ends four‑and‑a‑half years at Hamburg's Theater am Großmarkt

The Hamburg production of *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child* concluded its run on 27 July 2026 with a sold‑out final evening attended by 1,670 guests. Theater director Marcel Neitzel thanked the audience, noting that the show has attracted about 1.8 million viewers across more than 1,400 performances since its December 2021 debut. The play, written by Jack Thorne with J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany, will not be transferred to another German venue. AT G Entertainment announced that the next major stage offering in Hamburg will be a preview of *Moulin Rouge!* on 28 October, with a gala premiere slated for 5 November.
