Harry Potter franchise launches child‑actor schooling plan and announces Guatemala ‘Hogwarts Sinfónico’ concert
The new HBO Harry Potter series has put in place a temporary school to ensure that its child actors can continue their education while filming. Production schedules allow the young cast—Dominic McLaughlin (Harry), Alastair Stout (Ron) and Arabella Stanton (Hermione)—to return to classes quickly, with a dedicated classroom set up at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
In Guatemala, the magic continues with the “Hogwarts Sinfónico” concert at the Teatro Nacional Miguel Ángel Asturias. The event, featuring live performances of iconic Harry Potter scores such as “Hedwig’s Theme,” has been rescheduled for Sunday, 26 July, with tickets ranging from Q250 to Q350. The concert combines music, themed lighting and visual effects to recreate the atmosphere of Hogwarts for fans of all ages.
