Harry Potter memorabilia and series updates

A British woman, Katrina McNicol, has sold a rare first-edition Harry Potter paperback for 20,000 euros at auction. The book, which was originally a review copy sent to McNicol while she worked for a Scottish magazine, was kept in pristine condition in storage. The high sale price was driven by its flawless condition and specific first-edition errors, such as a missing letter in the title blurb.

In separate news regarding the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series, actor Rafe Spall has teased a potential adaptation of a famous scene from 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'. Spall, who plays Arthur Weasley, noted working on set with Katherine Parkinson (Molly Weasley), Kit Harington (Gilderoy Lockhart), and Johnny Flynn (Lucius Malfoy). This cast combination suggests the production may film the confrontation between the Weasleys and Malfoys at Flourish & Blotts in Diagon Alley.
