Harry Styles discusses fame and identity in W Magazine interview

In a series of interviews with W Magazine, singer Harry Styles discussed his evolving relationship with fame, touring, and his personal identity. The 32-year-old artist reflected on how his perspective has shifted since starting his career at a young age. He admitted that he previously felt uncomfortable and restless during long breaks from the stage, as touring had become a central part of his identity.

Styles described the experience of performing for large crowds as occupying a 'godlike position,' but noted the importance of separating his stage persona from his private self. He revealed that he uses showering immediately after a show as a ritual to 'wash off' the superstar persona and return to a more vulnerable state.

These reflections come as Styles continues his 'Together, Together' tour in support of his fourth solo album, 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.' He is also preparing for a 30-night residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden beginning August 26.
