Harry Styles' Mexico concerts draw crowds, spark fan‑space dispute

British singer Harry Styles arrived in Mexico in late July 2026, landing at Toluca International Airport by private jet. He is in the capital ahead of a six‑date residency at Estadio GNP Seguros, scheduled for 31 July, 1, 4, 7, 8 and 10 August. Each show will be opened by British singer Jorja Smith. Ticket sales for the Mexican leg sold out within minutes, and the Chamber of Commerce (Canaco) estimates the concerts could generate an economic spill‑over of 2.55‑3.0 billion Mexican pesos (≈ 150‑170 million USD) through hospitality, food, transport and retail. While touring the city, Styles was filmed walking in the Roma Norte neighbourhood, where he stopped at a taquería and later ran in Chapultepec. During one walk a fan approached him for a photograph; Styles asked her to keep her distance, a moment that went viral and sparked debate about celebrity privacy. A temporary pop‑up store selling official tour merchandise will operate at Lucerna 32, Juárez, from 31 July to 10 August (closed 3 August).
