Harry’s Home hotel group undergoes leadership transition

The Innsbruck-based hotel group Harry’s Home has undergone a leadership transition. Founder Harald Ultsch has stepped down from his role as managing director after 20 years to join the company’s supervisory board.

His daughter, Valentina Ultsch, a trained business economist, has assumed the position of managing director. She takes responsibility for approximately 400 employees, with a primary focus on personnel management. The transition follows a four-year period of preparation where Valentina worked closely with her father to integrate into the company’s leadership.

The group, which includes Hotel Adlers, currently operates 16 properties across Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Under the new leadership, the company plans to continue its expansion, aiming to add one to two new hotels to its portfolio annually.
