Harsh Goenka questions civic sense following Vande Bharat video

Businessman Harsh Goenka has raised concerns regarding public civic sense after sharing a video of the Vande Bharat express train on social media. While the video highlights the modern amenities and high-quality service of the train—including snacks, newspapers, and staff who collect used trays—it also reveals passengers leaving trash, such as food wrappers and empty drink cans, on seats and floors despite the availability of bins.

Goenka questioned how to teach people to behave responsibly in public spaces, noting that the presence of advanced facilities is undermined when passengers do not use them properly. He pointed out that items like newspapers are being used as trash receptacles and waste is being left in seat pockets, questioning the effectiveness of improved infrastructure if passenger behavior does not evolve alongside it.
