Harshad Chopda Becomes First Finalist on India's Lock Upp 2 as Shivangi Joshi Is Eliminated

Actor Harshad Chopda secured the first spot in the grand finale of the Indian reality series Lock Upp 2 after a dramatic cage task. During the same episode, contestant Shreya Kalra used a previously earned advantage to eliminate Shivangi Joshi, ending the latter's run on the show. The elimination followed Harshad’s confession that he had deliberately lost an earlier challenge to protect Shivangi, prompting her emotional decision to step aside. Hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh guided the contestants through the tense proceedings, and guest actors Huma Qureshi and Bhumi Pednekar visited the set ahead of the finale week. With Harshad confirmed, the competition now narrows to seven contestants—Shreya Kalra, Yogesh Rawat, Shilpa Shinde, Ram Kapoor, Akanksha Chamola and Varun Yadav—who will vie for the remaining spots. The finale is expected on August 5, 2026.
