Harta Literară expands digital literary mapping to Iaşi

The digital platform Harta Literară is expanding its network of literary cities in Romania, with a new launch scheduled for Iaşi on September 4. The project aims to map the relationship between literature and urban spaces, building upon its existing documentation of Bucharest, which includes over 500 locations and 1,500 connections to Romanian literary works.

Following the Iaşi launch, the platform plans to extend its reach to Braşov and Timişoara by 2026. The initiative operates across cultural, educational, touristic, and urban dimensions, seeking to use literature as a tool to transform how residents and visitors perceive Romanian cities.
