Harter Brocken crime series reaches tenth installment
The ARD crime series ‘Harter Brocken’ reaches its tenth installment with the film ‘Die Versuchung’. The series, created by Holger Karsten Schmidt, follows the pragmatic village sheriff Frank Koops, played by Aljoscha Stadelmann, in the Harz region of Germany.
In this new episode, the plot centers on a shipment of cocaine from the Netherlands intended for Berlin. A transport accident in the Harz mountains leads to the discovery of the drugs, which were disguised as ‘spachtelmasse’ (filler paste). The situation becomes personal for Koops when a local hotelier, facing financial ruin, discovers the multi-million euro drug haul. The story also involves a ruthless woman from the Netherlands searching for the missing shipment and its couriers.
