Harun Yildirim leaves ‘Unter uns’ as character moves to Istanbul

Actor Harun Yildirim is leaving the German soap opera ‘Unter uns’ in his role as Ferhat Gülek. In the storyline, Ferhat decides to move from Cologne to Istanbul to accept a lucrative construction contract for a community center.

Yildirim indicated that while the departure is sudden, it may not be permanent. He noted that Istanbul is only a three-hour flight away and the assignment is temporary, leaving the possibility open for the character to return to the Schillerallee if he settles in well or meets someone new.

Harun Yildirim has been portraying the character since March 27, 2025. The episode marking his departure was scheduled for broadcast on October 14, 2026.
