Harvard Professor David Pépin wins 13th KY Cha Award

David Pépin, an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, has been named the recipient of the 13th KY Cha Award in Reproductive Medicine. The announcement was made during the 82nd American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) conference held in Baltimore, Maryland.

Pépin was recognized for his research titled ‘Extrafollicular Ovarian Steroidogenesis: Stromal Hormone Production as a Therapeutic Target in Ovarian Aging’. His work focuses on the hormone-producing functions of ovarian stromal cells, offering a new therapeutic target to address ovarian aging and its impact on female reproductive health and overall longevity.

The KY Cha Award was established in 2011 by CHA Medical Group to honor the achievements of Dr. Kwang-ryul Cha in the fields of infertility treatment, stem cell research, and regenerative medicine. It is the only award established by the ASRM bearing an Asian name and recognizes researchers making innovative contributions to reproductive medicine.
