Harvard University announces new fellowship and scholar programs
Harvard University has announced application openings for two distinct fellowship programs for the 2026–2028 academic periods.
The Harvard Academy Scholars Program is offering a two-year, in-residence postdoctoral fellowship for early-career social science scholars. The program targets researchers with deep expertise in regions outside the United States and Canada. The application deadline for the 2027–2028 cohort is September 18, 2026.
Additionally, the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program is accepting applications for projects spanning science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and the arts. The institute is currently focusing on academic freedom and connecting across difference. Deadlines vary by discipline: September 10, 2026, for humanities, social sciences, creative arts, and journalism, and October 1, 2026, for science, engineering, and mathematics.
