Harvest festivals scheduled for Sakado and Sakura in late 2026
Two separate harvest festivals are scheduled to take place in Japan in late 2026.
In Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture, the inaugural ‘Sakado Autumn Harvest Festival’ will be held on November 1, 2026, at the Sakado Agricultural Products Processing Plant. The event, running from 10:00 to 15:00, will feature agricultural product sales including rice, vegetables, grapes, and eggs. Activities include a light truck market, kitchen cars, and food distributions such as free tonjiru (pork soup). The festival will also host workshops by the Japan Women's College of Physical Education and a mini-concert featuring violin and cello duets.
The Sakura Direct Sales Office has also announced its annual autumn harvest festival, scheduled for November 14–15, 2026. Details regarding specific deals and event specifics are expected to be released closer to the date.
