Harvey Elliott joins Valencia on loan from Liverpool
Valencia CF has officially secured the signing of English midfielder Harvey Elliott on a season-long loan from Liverpool FC. The 23-year-old playmaker, who has made 149 official appearances for Liverpool, arrived in Valencia on Monday night to undergo medical examinations.
The agreement is a loan deal without an option to buy, lasting until the end of the 2026/27 season. As part of the deal, Valencia will cover a significant portion of Elliott's salary. The move is intended to provide the midfielder with regular playing time after he struggled for minutes at Anfield and during a previous loan spell at Aston Villa.
Elliott, a former Fulham academy product and a standout in England's U-21 ranks, expressed his enthusiasm upon arrival, stating, ‘It’s an incredible club.
