Haryana Chief Minister engages Swedish and Russian firms for industrial investment
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is actively engaging with international firms to boost industrial investment in the state. In a meeting with Swedish company representatives, Saini highlighted the state’s skilled workforce and connectivity, citing existing major investments from IKEA and ABB as evidence of investor confidence. He emphasized the strategic partnership between India and Sweden, noting a roadmap to double economic exchanges over the next five years.
Simultaneously, Russian technology firms are proposing manufacturing ventures in Haryana’s Hansi district. A delegation met with the Chief Minister to discuss joint ventures with Gurugram-based AVPL International at the Drone City Haryana campus. Proposed projects include the production of unmanned helicopters capable of carrying 200 kg over 250 km, and the development of GPS-free drone navigation systems using Indian semiconductor chips. These projects aim to provide solutions for industrial logistics, disaster relief, and operations in signal-jammed environments.
