Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini meets diaspora in Singapore and reviews crop procurement

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met with entrepreneurs from the Punjab and Haryana diaspora during a visit to Singapore. He praised the contributions of the Indian community abroad and encouraged investors to leverage opportunities in Haryana, highlighting the state's improving infrastructure, governance, and business-friendly environment.

Domestically, Chief Minister Saini chaired a meeting to review the procurement of Kharif crops. He directed officials to ensure the timely lifting of paddy and pearl millet (bajra) from markets to prevent stock accumulation and facilitate smooth sales for farmers.

The government will procure pearl millet at 2,300 rupees per quintal, with the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana covering the difference to ensure farmers receive the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of 2,900 rupees per quintal. Officials reported that 500,000 quintals of paddy have been procured so far.
