Haryana CM orders infrastructure completion for Global City
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to complete basic infrastructure work in Faridabad’s Global City within three months. This includes establishing essential electricity and water supplies. The Chief Minister also requested an action plan for the construction of an iconic world-class tower within the project.
Global City is being developed across 1,000 acres at a cost of 1,000 crore rupees, with 80 percent of physical progress already completed. The project is designed as a smart urban center featuring educational and health institutions, malls, luxury hotels, and a connection to the Dwarka Expressway. The city will also be served by the Namo Bharat metro train and include a dedicated water treatment plant and a green lake.
Additionally, the Chief Minister noted progress on the integrated multi-modal logistics hub in Nangal Chaudhary, which includes an in-motion web bridge expected to be ready in six months. Plans are also underway for the expansion of the Pinjore airstrip and infrastructure development at the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Hisar.
