Haryana CM Saini demands white paper on Punjab employment

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has called on the Punjab government to issue a white paper regarding employment figures. During a visit to Amritsar, Saini challenged the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration to clarify how many of the 20 lakh youths they promised to employ over five years have actually secured jobs.

Saini emphasized that employment is a matter of economic security for families rather than just an electoral promise. He noted that both the Congress and AAP had made significant employment pledges, and he demanded transparency regarding the actual outcomes of these commitments.

Regarding Haryana's own performance, Saini stated that approximately 45,000 government jobs have been provided during his administration's 18-month tenure without favoritism or bribery. He added that recruitment processes for 5,600 Haryana Police posts and 8,000 other departmental positions are currently underway to ensure merit-based hiring.
