Haryana police arrest man and father for alleged murder of teenager

Police in Hisar, Haryana, have arrested a man and his father for the alleged murder of a 14-year-old girl. Authorities state the killing was motivated by the father's suspicion that the teenager had met a boy on August 9.

According to investigators, the suspects, identified as Vinod and Dharampal, allegedly strangled the girl on the night of August 11. Her body was reportedly placed in a sack and thrown into the Kishangarh canal near the Dhani Mohabbatpur bridge. The victim's body was later recovered from the canal following police action.
