Haryana police seize large quantities of cannabis and heroin in separate raids

Law enforcement agencies in Haryana have conducted significant drug seizures in separate operations. In Fatehpur Sikri, the Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) intercepted a shipment of cannabis being transferred from a truck to a Swift Dzire car. Authorities recovered approximately 40 kg of cannabis, valued at roughly 30 lakh rupees, which was reportedly being transported from Tripura to Jaipur. Four suspects were arrested during the raid, while two others managed to flee the scene.

In a separate incident in Nuh, the Nuh Police arrested a smuggler identified as Wajid near the Lala Amarnath Colony. During a vehicle search, officers discovered 1.597 kg of heroin concealed in a black polythene bag near the car's handbrake. The seized heroin has an estimated international market value of approximately 3.15 crore rupees. An SIT has been formed to investigate the drug supply chain and dismantle the local network.
