Haryana reports two fatal violent incidents in Sirsa and Sonipat
Two separate fatal incidents have been reported in the Indian state of Haryana.
In the Kalanwali area of Sirsa district, a man named Jaswant Singh was allegedly shot and killed inside his home. The victim's wife, Jeensdeep Kaur, has accused her father-in-law, Jalwinder Singh, and three others of breaking into their residence and opening fire. The family suggests a land dispute may be the motive. The victim's wife has stated she will refuse to allow a post-mortem or funeral until the suspects are arrested. Local police have collected evidence and are investigating the circumstances.
In Sonipat's Sevali village, a man identified as Anuj Gupta, originally from Bhagalpur, Bihar, was beaten to death following a dispute while drinking with friends. Gupta, who worked at a local factory, is survived by two wives and four children. Following the altercation, the suspects fled the scene. The Rai police station, along with forensic and crime teams, have processed the scene and are currently forming teams to track down the absconding individuals.
