HAS green academy to move to Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo

HAS green academy will relocate its Venlo facility to the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo at the start of the 2027-2028 academic year. The institution will move into the Brighthouse building, which is already home to Maastricht University.

The relocation aims to strengthen the collaboration between education, research, and the business community. By bringing students, teachers, researchers, and entrepreneurs together on one campus, the move facilitates knowledge exchange regarding healthy and sustainable food, future farming, and the biocircular economy.

For students, the new environment provides closer proximity to companies and research facilities, offering increased opportunities for internships and professional networking. For businesses, the presence of the academy offers better access to young talent and academic research.
