Hasan Güneş appointed as Samsun Provincial Mufti

A presidential decree has formalized a leadership exchange between the Samsun and Aydın Provincial Mufti offices in Turkey. Hasan Güneş, who previously served as the Mufti of Aydın, has been appointed as the new Mufti of Samsun.

Seyfullah Çakır, the outgoing Mufti of Samsun, will transition to the role of Mufti of Aydın.

Hasan Güneş brings over 30 years of religious service to his new position. Born in Giresun, his career includes roles as an imam-hatip, preacher, and various district mufti positions in Erzurum, Trabzon, Safranbolu, and Artvin, prior to his tenure in Aydın.
