Hasan Piker claims US military commits more terrorism than Al Qaeda

Streamer Hasan Piker stated in an interview with ‘The Axios Show’ that the United States military has committed more terrorism than Al Qaeda on a ‘pound for pound’ basis regarding the number of deaths caused.

Piker, who serves as a surrogate for Michigan Democratic US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, cited an accidental missile strike on a girls' elementary school during the opening hours of the Iran war on February 28 as an example of such terror. He argued that while these actions do not make all Americans terrorists, there must be an environment of accountability.

Abdul El-Sayed issued a statement to Axios distancing himself from the remarks, noting that he does not agree with the comparison to Al Qaeda and does not give significant weight to the statements made by the social media creator.
