Hasbro and Nintendo to Release Legend of Zelda Toys Starting 2027

Hasbro, the U.S. toy and games company, has signed a multi‑year licensing partnership with Nintendo to produce official Legend of Zelda toys and action figures. The collaboration will begin in 2027, with the first products—a set of three 6‑inch scale figures—being unveiled at San Diego Comic‑Con from July 23‑26 2026.

Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro, said the partnership combines Nintendo’s storytelling with Hasbro’s expertise in action‑play collectibles, inviting fans to “play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.” The agreement covers a range of merchandise beyond figures, potentially including plush, role‑play items and board‑game accessories, though specific characters have not yet been confirmed.

The deal arrives as the Legend of Zelda franchise celebrates its 40th anniversary and coincides with upcoming releases such as a live‑action movie (scheduled for May 2027) and a remake of Ocarina of Time. Hasbro’s portfolio already includes major IPs like Transformers, Magic: The Gathering, and Nerf, and the new Zelda line expands its premium collectible offerings.
