Hasbro seeks new studio for Dungeons & Dragons film sequel

The sequel to the film ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is currently seeking a new studio for financing and distribution. While a script is reportedly ready and Hasbro remains interested in the project, Paramount-Skydance has declined to move forward with the continuation due to financial reasons.

Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein indicated that for the project to proceed, Hasbro must find a partner willing to work under more economical conditions than the first film. The production remains in development, but requires a new agreement regarding budget, filming schedules, and distribution strategies to become a confirmed reality.
