Hasbro unveils $600 Ultimate Grogu animatronic at San Diego Comic‑Con

Hasbro revealed a life‑size, 1:1 scale animatronic of the beloved Star Wars character Grogu at San Diego Comic‑Con. The "Ultimate Grogu" toy features more than 250 unique animations, four motors and 14 sensors that react to touch on its head, hands, cheeks and back, allowing it to blink, wiggle its ears, raise its arms and mimic Force gestures.

The collectible offers three interactive modes—Explore, Grab & Go and a third for cosplay—so fans can choose how expressive the figure is. It retails for $599.99, and pre‑orders sold out quickly after the unveiling. Shipping is scheduled for 1 April 2027.
