Hase Bikes unveils Kettwiesel TWO electric tandem trike
Hase Bikes has introduced the Kettwiesel TWO, a full-suspension electric tandem trike designed for side-by-side riding. Unlike traditional tandem bicycles where riders sit one behind the other, this layout allows two people to sit at eye level, facilitating conversation and shared scenery.
The vehicle is intended for couples, families, and carers, as well as community organizations. It aims to provide an inclusive experience for individuals with varying levels of mobility, allowing both riders to participate actively rather than one person simply being transported. To accommodate different needs, the trike features swivel seats for easier wheelchair transfers and a telescopic frame that fits riders between 1.30 and 2.00 meters tall.
Technical specifications include a Bosch Performance Line motor providing 100 Nm of torque, a front suspension fork, and MacPherson rear suspension to manage uneven terrain. The system supports various gear options and an optional dual battery for extended range.
